On our way to Manuel Antonio, we passed the famed "crocodile bridge" -- a bridge convenient for tourists to gawk at crocodiles on the river from a safe distance. I was so sick at that time that I was not able to leave the car to take a peek. I could only admire Matthew's photographs afterwards.
