Legoland

We went to Legoland this Sunday. The park was designed for kids of age 3~10. So both girls loved it! Almost after every ride, Tiffany would say: "Again! Again!". But she only repeated to the horse ride, THREE times!

Strawberrry Jam

It's been all quiet on the Zong blog for a week! I've got to post something....
Matthew bought a huge box of fresh strawberry from Costco a few days ago, and it's been sitting in the frig. I thought, why not make some strawberry jam (my favorite!) from scratch? There are tons of recipes on the internet and some of them very simple. Here's a picture of the final product -- it tastes yummier than it looks, though.

 STRAWBERRY JAM (FREEZER)
 4 c. mashed strawberries
 2 3/4 c. sugar
1 box Sure-Jell light fruit pectin
Combine pectin with 1/4 cup sugar; gradually add pectin mixture to fruit; stirring well; set aside for 30 minutes stirring frequently. Gradually stir in rest of sugar until dissolved; pour jam into jars and cover tightly with lids. Let stand at room temperature overnight, then store in freezer. Small amounts may be covered and stored in refrigerator up to 3 weeks.
