Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from southern California! It has been many years that we would spent our Christmas in a vacation home or a hotel. This year we will stay home for Christmas. Both girls got excited right after the Thanksgiving. We bought our Christmas tree on the following weekend. I have to be creative to keep the tree green and last to the day of Christmas. Everyone helped to decorate the tree. Michelle says she can't wait for Christmas because Auntie Gui would be here. Tiffany says she can't wait for opening the gifts!

This summer, Tiffany submitted a drawing to one of the largest Children's drawing contest in the southern California. The contest was evaluated by a committee of four famous artists (chaired by Ding, ShaoGuang). Tiffany won the third price in the goup of children under the age of five. Here is Tiffany with her first trophy standing in front of her work, which is in exhibition.

Michelle joined a swimming club since November. Since then, she has collected two trophies and one medal. She is quite enjoying swimming now. Here is Michelle with her awards.

Merry Christmas! We're looking forward to spending our holidays at your home, too. Both girls looked very cute with their trophies.

Thanksgiving in Denver

It was a cool Thanksgiving. "Very unusual weather!" We were reminded constantly. It started snowing on Saturday and did not stop until Monday morning. Still, we had some fun hiking the Eldorado Canyon, visiting museums, tea factories, etc. We also saw two movies, The Incredibles, and Kinsey, both pretty good.

Chantal and Andrew just purchased a lovely baby grand piano. Here's an excerpt of Matthew and I playing a duet on it: Fauré's Dolly.

Chantal has a lovely home, and it is nice to see her pictures.
It is amazing to hear Matthew and you playing the piano here. Well done
